First order of business is primer. Especially in the black closest. Sean did a very good job at painting every nook and cranny of the closet tar black for his NCU Tar Heels themed room. </p>
<p>After I primer and paint the room the first bit of wall decoration will be this huge <a href="http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8035/7rules.jpg">sticker poster</a>. I'm too cheap to buy it. So, I'm going to enlarge it with a projector and paint it on my wall. I think black would be a good color. Ha!<br>

It might not be worth it, but I'll try. My subject will no longer be about Ireland. I'm not there anymore. FYI. I'm home planning a wedding, finishing school (finally), and making some pretty cool things with my final projects. <br /><br />So I've decided that this blog, in suit with my siblings, will exploit my many awesome talents ;) And if you are following everyone's blogs, Mom, you will see that this family is very talented. Let's face it people, if your last name is or was Edwards, Pritchard, or Yates. You are just destined for greatness! Now, if you do not fall in one of those categories do not fear. You may still have a chance. There's always divine intervention, and my brother is still single.<br /><br />Best of luck.<br /><br />Mary<br />Future Mrs. Dixon <br />Future Awesome Art Director <br />at Design Firm Awesome PossumMousehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04092957607383992430noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6695318016954650627.post-89274072800912558292010-02-08T08:47:00.000-08:002010-02-08T12:35:32.195-08:00American Mondays<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxRwT8bIbaKld7cXJAHTqCINqiZx02cgImo_uddrhWbY04xGqGTkP1PkStwZ7vYlV6-DdujvtEipM6mhijBU0rVNgOSE08AH34dZomG-iDtSg3HXEN13876P4z-vAkZVZwk0BI0h-c-PNY/s1600-h/AmericanCola2-8-10.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 110px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxRwT8bIbaKld7cXJAHTqCINqiZx02cgImo_uddrhWbY04xGqGTkP1PkStwZ7vYlV6-DdujvtEipM6mhijBU0rVNgOSE08AH34dZomG-iDtSg3HXEN13876P4z-vAkZVZwk0BI0h-c-PNY/s400/AmericanCola2-8-10.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435918669844744386" border="0" /></a><br />I'm starting a theme to my Monday posts. <span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;font-family:arial;" >American</span><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:arial;" > </span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153); font-weight: bold;font-family:arial;" >Mondays</span> will be dedicated to all the Yankee Doodled products I find in Ireland. Our tour guide told us we better shake what we got because its the only time no one with think twice about it</span></span><span><span style="font-family:arial;">. The "cat walk" is a section of the Derry wall. The rich protestant women would dress up in all their finery and parade themselves on the pathway trying to out do each other. All while the poor catholic boys would jeer them from below, "Ah, </span></span><span><span style="font-family:arial;">look at em bunch of cats walkin' up there!"<br /><br /><br /><br /></span></span><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuAiUWOtcvZcRrh9MmalCnhpBS4j0xtn2Rbl71K8_Oe5aFTgqoKgdd3ciCDiW1L4A5u6VPbxf2CcpyJeilZJwQCDgcmowvSRIywwZ8kO-2kVVtK16JAi2W7aKrJWHeMbV7ZhWm0AyhIup2/s1600-h/DSC_0324.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 134px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuAiUWOtcvZcRrh9MmalCnhpBS4j0xtn2Rbl71K8_Oe5aFTgqoKgdd3ciCDiW1L4A5u6VPbxf2CcpyJeilZJwQCDgcmowvSRIywwZ8kO-2kVVtK16JAi2W7aKrJWHeMbV7ZhWm0AyhIup2/s200/DSC_0324.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435688056366300402" border="0" /></a><span><span style="font-family:arial;">After that fun we got to the serious part of the tour. We toured the murals of Bloody Sunday and other civil rights movements. Our tour guides were both men in their mid to late sixties. It was extremely sad to hear them speak of the events on and surrounding Bloody Sunday. They each had a brother, friend, or family member that was killed by British soldiers. One guide showed us where his brother laid dead. The building exteriors have since been refinish, but the bullet holes are left exposed.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />But to not be completely melancholy, there was something cool that happened there. Our group was filmed for a UK tourism video. And I just happened to be right in front of the camera for part of it. Just coincidence I assure you. ;)<br /><br />For more photos see my Facebook album </span><a style="font-family: arial;" href="http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2162393&id=39506032&l=5aeaf97419">Derry Tour</a><br /></span>Mousehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04092957607383992430noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6695318016954650627.post-14191768627078863162010-02-06T10:38:00.000-08:002010-02-07T17:28:06.617-08:00On our way to Derry or Londonderry<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxvXqs86wTFSVVoQpJ9Gu75sNhjYJLe7IT7VTggaExIQYm0p0nE6HpCi9o3cM06UwOAGg3OmLkHIVFk0M7IjyZXrB5uiehY9lawzUpe6PNpAudX9c3JJYbghf7cpKZCbK9sEkTMI5vZMS-/s1600-h/DSC_0239.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 360px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxvXqs86wTFSVVoQpJ9Gu75sNhjYJLe7IT7VTggaExIQYm0p0nE6HpCi9o3cM06UwOAGg3OmLkHIVFk0M7IjyZXrB5uiehY9lawzUpe6PNpAudX9c3JJYbghf7cpKZCbK9sEkTMI5vZMS-/s400/DSC_0239.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435204739607741362" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Today I woke up bright and early. 5:30 AM! The day we, being the big group of American Yanks, arrived Ireland was hit with the worst snow storm they’ve had since 1964! It was hilarious. Now on average, Ireland’s lowest temperature of the winter is 35-40° F. Snow is not some thing they are accustomed to. In three days Dublin used as much salt and grit as they would have used in a whole year. It was rather “slippy” out, as the locals would say. hehe :)<br /><br /></span><span style="font-family:arial;"></span><a style="font-family: arial;" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJHbdgTZ4PWdKZgmrQ-gy5HSDZaflM3jlfoZj0EY0kBCFanYggQZ3ItjvHhfXOZSUM-xqvO30csVkjOxPmFG9DCgRQ4ogB4tQ8j5fz-q34BN_gxNnOBQqgLUsrgFfmgLd0YMeoD1O2a68s/s1600-h/DSC_0101.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJHbdgTZ4PWdKZgmrQ-gy5HSDZaflM3jlfoZj0EY0kBCFanYggQZ3ItjvHhfXOZSUM-xqvO30csVkjOxPmFG9DCgRQ4ogB4tQ8j5fz-q34BN_gxNnOBQqgLUsrgFfmgLd0YMeoD1O2a68s/s320/DSC_0101.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434928075727097762" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:130%;" ><span style="font-family:arial;">Young bride having her photos taken in the snow.
